This 60 minute online movement practice blends Pilates, yoga, and barre-inspired exercises including low impact cardio, functional strength building, core-centered conditioning and stretching for a full body workout. The practice promotes body awareness, control, improved posture, balance, proprioception, and focus. Moderately paced, attention is placed on breath, optimal alignment of the joints and precision of movement, integrating mind and body.
Light hand weights (1-5 lbs), an 8-9” inflatable Pilates ball and 6ft long medium to heavy resistance band are optional. Previous experience with either Pilates, yoga or barre is recommended.
